I know. Kind of crazy. BUT I need to change this bad habit. I have all of the great ideas in the world, but I don’t always keep myself accountable with them. I’m going to share some systems of how I’m staying organized this year and how I will make it happen!
The coolest app out there that will literally organize your life. My biggest goal is to make Maple be my personal assistant. You can meal plan in here and pull recipes from online. You can add to do lists. You can put your daily/weekly/monthly chores on here. Literally everything! When we went to Dallas last year I used Maple to plan all of my packing, too. They have a free version and a paid version. You can download it here and get a week free of Maple+.
Shelby Sacco is the queen of habits and I grabbed her habit tracker on Amazon. It’s only like $20 too. I have my habits written down for February already! Pretty simple things like having breakfast and water before coffee, 15 minutes of tummy time for Wesley, do a workout and have a protein shake. I want to get better at habit stacking too and this is a perfect way to do it. Habit stacking is essentially killing two birds with one stone. So for example, right now as I’m writing this blog post, I have a face mask on. One of my habits for the month of February is to do a weekly face mask. Little, but effective.
There are a ton of these type of planners! I have three that I really love: The Skinny Confidential Planner, Papier Daily Planner, and Mindcheer. Using all of these every morning I can write out what tasks I need to do. I also feel more relaxed when I use a planner. I’m such a list person and need to write everything down so the combination of Maple and a planner should make me organized… I mean, it better. LOL.
There is nothing more embarrassing than when someone asks you for a quick update on something you said you were going to do, and your response is no update. So essentially me putting all of this out here is my way of talking about it. Please ask me how I’m doing in my DMs or email me so I can say I’m actually doing these things haha!
