Looking for a bachelorette location in Southern California? Palm Springs is the perfect bachelorette destination if you’re wanting to have the ultimate girls weekend. The cute town of Palm Springs is just 2 hours away from Los Angeles and a destination so colorful you will want to come back for more.
My maid of honors outdid themselves with my bachelorette. Seriously. Desiree and Melissa, you ladies should start event planning. It was a girls weekend filled with lounging by the pool, drinking tons of tequila and seltzer, and an epic spot for pictures. I think we’re all going to remember this trip forever. I’m a huge fan of Coachella, so they specifically themed it #Bachella. It couldn’t have been more perfect. The decor, the house, the itinerary. It was all amazing.
The AirBnB
If you’re planning on staying in Palm Springs, you most likely are going to be at the house majority of the time. All of the houses are truly designed to please and a lot of the rentals really are meant for you to be there majority of the time. For my bachelorette, we stayed at the Mod Mirror Villa. You can book it on Airbnb or their website. It felt like it was out of a movie. Their instagram for the rental actually shows that a lot of businesses use the location for photoshoots, and it’s easy to see why. There were 8 girls total and we each shared a bed. Luckily most of us knew each other so it wasn’t an issue to share a bed. PLUS, each room had a bathroom. So that was nice in itself. As much as we love to pride being a girl, we are messy AF haha!
The caveat with Palm Springs is you can’t have outside music louder than a certain point. A lot of rentals, including ours, have these devices that measure the decibels of sound outside. If you go above a certain point, you probably will get a call to be quiet. There’s also a sensor inside but really it’s the outside one that matters the most. It was weird because even when we were inside the outdoor sensor would go off. But I don’t think we ever got in trouble for it. I hope at least lol.
The Decor
The girls killed it on the decor. Everywhere you look, there’s something. Melissa has a signature way of decorating by printing out a ton of pictures and laying them everywhere. It’s one of my fav things that she does! We had the bridal shower at her home too and she replaced all of the pictures of her and her husband with Raymond and I. Haha! It’s her little touch and I love it SO much. So there were pictures everywhere of myself, the bridesmaids, and Raymond. Her trick is doing a shared album and inputting pictures into there, then printing it at Costco or any other place.
As far as signage, there was a sign that said “FUTURE MRS. BRENIER” on the inside of the house and “#BACHELLA” on the outside. You can find some of those custom signs on Amazon for $1.95 each letter. Such an easy way to decorate and really create something so memorable. They also had a huge BRIDE over where I slept too.
They also had a backdrop of all of these little hearts. It was so great for pictures! We took a bunch there before we had dinner on Saturday. Also another Amazon find!

Cups, shot glasses, and other things to drink out of are necessities for a Bach weekend too. They had the cutest cups that said “Wife of the Party” in white and the bridesmaids had “The Party” in pink. On Amazon you can grab the cups here and the shot glasses here. We also had some cups that had lids and straws on them. They said “Bride” and “Brides Babes” and were pink and white, of course. There were also little ziploc looking pouches that we totally forgot to use! They’re so cute but I’m going to recycle them for another friends bachelorette coming up.

A bachelorette weekend wouldn’t be complete without a huge straw saying “Bride” either, right? They got me one in white and they all had pink colored… well… I’m sure you can guess what they had. Unfortunately when we got home I went to wash the straw and for some reason put it in the dishwasher. It came out as no longer being a bride haha. So don’t do that!

Desiree and Melissa also got a ton of bridal stuff and I so thought I would hate “Bride to Be” all of that but I LOVED it. It’s the one time I’ll ever wear this stuff so why not embrace it. I love that they know me better than I know myself haha! I could only find one of them on Amazon, but it has a linen feel to it and came with a crown. They also got me a veil which I wore out on Friday night. It pulled together the whole outfit and gave it kind of a Madonna Like a Virgin vibe. It was too cute!
The Gift Bags
These gift bags were so freaking adorable and personable. Each one had a lifesize cutout of Raymond’s face and they made for such great props the whole weekend. I loved it haha! As far oas on the inside, there were little essentials for everyone. Travel sized makeup wipes, tons of LiquidIV, Tylenol, hair ties, sunglasses, and the cutest matching swimsuits for all of us to wear.
The whole weekend was so thought out and truly such a fun time! As always, feel free to email or comment below with any questions.
xoxo, Bridgette
